We are looking forward to welcoming you and your newborn to the studio!

In preparation for your visit, it’s time we got to know you and your family a little bit better. Please complete this questionnaire to help your photographer build an idea of the the styles of photography you love and the important photographs you’d like to be captured. It will mean we can plan your photoshoot thoroughly, get the studio set up ready for when you arrive and make it truly bespoke and memorable for you. We will also ensure your framed art complements the style of your home..

SECTION 1: VENTURE NEWBORN STYLES

What’s your style?

We can create many different looks and styles in your photography session for you and your newborn. We’d love to know what your favourites are, so please choose as many as you like and we will get the studio set up and ready for your arrival.

STYLE 1: MONOCHROME 


A true classic, Monochrome is rich in tones, shade and drama that brings a timeless cinematic feel to your image. A focus on lighting highlights special details, creating intimate images of all the tiny features of your beautiful new arrival.

STYLE 2: COLOUR POP


Looking for something a little brighter to capture your new arrival? Colour pop is the perfect style to create eye catching portraits, that will make a pop on any wall in your home. We can work with you to select the perfect colours to complement the room the portraits will be displayed in. Whether it’s a nursery, play room or mantle piece, colour pop really stands out.

STYLE 3: WOODEN TEXTURE  


Wooden texture style is all about capturing earthy, textured images to create a natural soft feel to the images. We can select the tone of the wood to suit you and your home, and work with you to bring along blankets and accessories to accompany the look, alongside the many items we will have ready in the studio.

STYLE 4: SILHOUETTES


Silhouettes are the perfect way to capture the first cuddles and closeness your family will experience with your new arrival. Whether wanting skin on skin images, or simply to highlight the perfect cheeks and profile of your little one, silhouette style is softly lit in a skilful way to focus in on closeness and togetherness.

STYLE 5: THEMED


Themed style is about bringing to life something cute, seasonal or a creative idea you have for the shoot. Is your baby born near a seasonal event like Autumn or Spring and you want to theme some images around this? Do you have a room with a colour scheme you’d love to match or even a favourite character or children’s story we can bring to life in the shoot? We’d love to create something really cute and special for you, so let us know of any ideas you might have.

STYLE 6: BLANKETS


Blankets are a great way to create timeless portraits in a newborn shoot. Do you have a special blanket that may have been knitted by a loved one, or the one baby got wrapped in first? Bringing along a selection of blankets and accessories, such as the first teddy, items that match the nursery décor or personalised gifts is a beautiful way to create images to celebrate the wonderful gifts you may have received and want to savour.

Section 4:

MAIN PURPOSE OF YOUR PHOTOSHOOT

 

Welcoming a new member into the family is an excited time for all family members. We welcome all family members whose love to have a portrait captured, including pets and siblings. If you have energetic members who’d like to attend it is advised to have someone at hand to bring them for a short while, capture the moment and take them for a run about so you can focus on baby.

We only use the information gathered in this questionnaire to progress your order and personalise your photoshoot session, such as photography styles, colour schemes and frames preference. This information will not be shared with any third parties.
